Details Worktools

Details, a Steelcase company, wanted to introduce their colorful new worktools with a splash. So we spent a day in the studio with the Jimmy Jib, light table, and some worktools attached to C-stands, rotated manually by off-camera production assistants. We used After Effects to color-coordinate the eye with the new Worktool colors, and cut the soundtrack at Soundpost, using a sweetened needle drop. The result is one of our all-time favorites.

Details had a cool new product called Sharelink, a wall-mounted workstation. They wanted to show it in action in several different environments, but that was logistically and financially just not possible. So we teamed with 3D wizard Shane Wiersma of OddlyEven to create this piece, which features a seamless blend of greenscreen footage with Shane's custom-built 3D environments. We have plenty of green paint left for your project.

Basic Super Bowl

Putting parts of our lives on pause is something that appeals to all of us, so O & O Advertising used that concept for this spot, promoting DirecTV and its HD DVR capabilities. The opinions expressed are definitely not those of 1041 East management, but we like the way the spot looks. The foreground hand was shot against a green screen as a “just in case”, and it ended up being the key element in the illusion.
